The brief: 20 Gracechurch Street is a prominent 30s-inspired building in the City of London. Formerly the headquarters of Barclays Bank it is a landmark in the business district and a busy financial and commercial hub throughout the week.
The solution: With so many people passing through its gates and requiring access to different levels, offices and departments in the building itself, a robust platform lift was required. The Sesame System proved to be a perfect match with its range of user controls, modern design and ability to blend with its surrounds. The resultant internal platform only wheelchair lift with an upper landing gate makes disabled access simple and straightforward, improving convenience for all users of the building.
