ABOUT
The studio was involved from the very beginning in the complete design and fit-out of the residential building that hosts this penthouse – from the shared areas (staircases, elevators, and ground floor) to the two penthouse apartments, symmetrically placed at the top of the building. Each unit benefits from dedicated access directly from the staircase, ensuring complete privacy.
This penthouse project is distinguished by its efficient zoning, premium finishes, and a generous 280 sqm terrace that opens the space to the city, offering a truly unique living experience.
DESIGN
The layout follows the principle of a clear separation between the day area — composed of the living room, kitchen, and dining room — directly connected to the terrace, and the night area — more secluded, comprising the bedrooms and a home office, designed to ensure privacy and comfort.
Each space was carefully planned with attention to orientation, circulation, and daily use, with a strong emphasis on efficiency, functionality, and quality.
LIVING
The living room, kitchen, and dining area form an open-plan space designed to encourage communication and relaxation. The atmosphere is enhanced by carefully considered details, such as curved walls that conceal ventilation ducts and create niches with integrated lighting, providing warm, ambient illumination.
The focal point of the living area is a natural wood fireplace, a complex construction integrated into the wall and concealed by a custom furniture system that also hides the television and a high-performance acoustic system — together weighing 150 kg. Sliding panels allow discreet access to these elements, combining functionality with refined aesthetics.
KITCHEN
The kitchen serves as a harmonious bridge between the living area and the terrace, offering direct access and a natural flow between spaces. It is equipped with a modern cooking area, a central island with four bar stools, and a welcoming dining area for 6–8 people.
The same attention to detail and functionality extends to the terrace, where under a bio pergola a second living and dining area has been created. The outdoor furniture continues the interior’s stylistic line while adapting to the open-air space and ensuring comfort in the outdoor environment.
MASTER BEDROOM
The master bedroom is a serene retreat, equipped with a private bathroom and a spacious walk-in closet. Direct access to the terrace enhances the sense of freedom and connection with the outdoors.
The bathroom, designed in dark tones, cleverly separates the washbasin and bathtub area from the WC, shower, and bidet zone, both visually and acoustically, providing privacy and comfort.
GUEST BEDROOM
The guest bedroom features a wardrobe and has access to a private balcony, ensuring both privacy and comfort. A shared bathroom, located in the connecting corridor, serves this area. It mirrors the design of the master bathroom but in lighter tones, with copper accents adding a touch of elegance.
TERRACE
The penthouse terrace wraps around two sides of the apartment and is divided into two distinct areas: a sheltered relaxation zone protected by a bio pergola and glass walls, and an open area with an outdoor fireplace, directly connected to the living room.
For safety, the terrace features custom railings designed as decorative planters with triplex glass, a solution developed in collaboration with an Italian company. This system provides protection against both falls and wind, at a significant height of 15 meters.
