STATUS
Under Construction
SIZE
0 sqft - 1000 sqft
BUDGET
$50K - 100K
Pavilion on the shore of a small private pond. The site already has a main house to live in, but the client needed a place for privacy and peace. A minimalistic pavilion for meditation and yoga.
The architecture is inspired by place and oriental philosophy, a kind of temple of body and mind. Get away from the outside world into the inside. Clear your mind. The walls symbolize the edge of the outer world with the inner, the shape of the roof, openness to the sky, opening of the mind, connection with the universe.
The location near the water is also dictated by the thought of meditating with a gaze on the surface of the water and the perspective of the sky.
A certain place of power.
