The interior concept focuses on a harmonious balance between the building's industrial roots and a modern, more welcoming feel. Similar to preserving and exhibiting the old elements of the building, here we aim to maintain the character of the former bread factory, leaving the authentic walls and ceilings but adapting them to today's needs—a bar and a multi-functional event space. In the spaces brought to new life, minimal interior details and functional furniture subtly combine the industrial environment with contemporary design. The greatest attention is paid to the space of the first floor, where the introduction of textile curtains provides softness and acoustic comfort. The curtains hanging between the existing metal structure imitate the former factory grain storage towers, emphasizing ceiling height. In the multifunctional hall on the second floor, curtains are used to easily adapt the space to different events, similar to concerts or exhibitions. In order to emphasize the building's history and maintain its authenticity, we used natural and softer materials, such as wood panels. The bar furniture is created from a wooden frame and stainless steel worktops to combine practicality and visual integrity. The staircase structure and handrails made of wood give a warmer and cozier atmosphere in an industrial context. Taking into account the natural daylight, we designed glass blocks in the spaces, which naturally fit into the overall interior design. Also, in terms of sustainable solutions, the main lighting fixtures are made from recycled materials, thus aiming to implement the principles of both modernity and sustainability.
