Padron is the “love child” of the Beck family, having the mission to bring the endemic tapas bar culture in Spain to Budapest. In this effort, the biggest challenge in the establishment of the restaurant in Horánszky street was to create an authentic milieu without having to use the trivial Hispanic motifs and clichés. "We want a place that could pass as any tapas bar in the outskirts of Barcelona" - was their request. This is how the choice was made to go with the modern, minimalist design, the elements of which basically embrace the counter in the center conveying directness and intimacy. The functional interior came up to the expectations - it created a transparent, intimate atmosphere, which at the same time guarantees the comfort of the Spanish snack bars, and ensures the possibility of a carefree meal with refreshing drinks.
