Occupying a coveted location in Chittagong the client required an expansive mixed-use development that celebrates the city the bespoke hillside location and the spirit of the adjacent streets. SPARK has developed Chittagong’s first mixed-use commercial project enclosing innovative and dynamic series of spaces designed to meet the rapidly changing local consumer aspirations and providing the opportunity for the city, it’s people and businesses to flourish.
One Sanmar is destined to become a Chittagong landmark injecting international level vibrancy into Chittagong’s contemporary culture with its range of facilities: retail, leisure, culture, sports, healthcare and luxurious living.
SPARK’s design team working alongside Sanmar drew from conversations with the client the sensibilities that informed the building’s Leitmotif, it’s recurrent theme inspired by the rolling topography of the site.
Given the scale of the development “a city within a city” One Sanmar will attract a broad range of residents, customers and visitors where business and community come together around the existing verdant hilltop set against Chittagong’s rapidly expanding urban backdrop.
