The engineering office at the Zurich location required 33 new workstations in an open space office of 560m2. Meeting rooms and brainstorming rooms define the open office area and create well lit dynamic work niches. The layout of the meeting and brainstorming rooms are reflected in the linear, yet not parallel to the building, drop ceiling installation. Despite the hard floor surfaces, comfortable acoustic levels are achieved with special insulated acoustic ceiling panels. These dropped ceiling elements in conjunction with the non orthogonal glass surfaces of the meeting rooms bring a dynamic flow in to the work space.
