The project was created for HeadHunter – a major online recruitment platform. The existing office required expansion due to the company reorganization. The bureau has created a comfortable and spacious non-standard office and experimented with the formats of areas.
The major part of the area is occupied by the office-corridor system. There are isolated offices for managers within the departments. However, the overall layout is designed with the employees' functionality in mind, not the hierarchy of the team. Some need silence and privacy, others — the opportunity to negotiate. All this is set up in open space.
The architects envisioned multi-format bookable meeting rooms, call rooms, areas to relax and socialize - a multitude of options for team and individual work. In the kitchen areas, staff can prepare their own meals. To regain energy, they can use a sleep capsule, or a treadmill instead, to re-energize.
There is also a multifunctional standup zone with musical equipment and audio\visual hardware. It can be used for corporate games, conferences and a bunch of other activities.
The theme of the business premise is Space, embodied without direct quotations. Obvious Reference to Space can be traced only in navigation -meeting rooms are named after planets – Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and others. In general the theme is represented through shapes, textures and materials. There are round niches, portholes, fractal shapes in the meeting room.
The architects ensured the comfort of employees in both recreation and work areas. They developed workspaces according to the needs of each department based on conducted interviews.
The office has a separate waste collection system, cost-effective lighting and energy-saving technologies. Additionally, many recycled and environmentally friendly materials were used.
Special attention was paid to acoustics. The fractal meeting room is finished with soft panels and deep-pile carpet tiles, which both dampen sound well. The partition in the multifunctional standup zone also has a sound-insulating function. There are acoustic ceilings, carpet tiles and lots of curtains in open space. Last but not least, the meeting rooms have double glazing.
Another crucial part of the project was the active greening of the office. The greenery is even built into the sofas in the kitchen. And the welcome-zone has a vertical greenery and a waterfall.
