As the inaugural project of the Nanjing Characteristic Cultural Tourism Center, Lishui OCT Exhibition Center is not merely a showcase for regional planning but a robust support for the community's future functional transformations. Drawing inspiration from abstract geometric forms, the designer abstracts the unique historical charm of Liushui onto the canvas of a new building. With the abstract geometric still life, magnifying elements such as the Yongshou Temple Pagoda, courtyards, the main water channel, and Jiangnan streets are abstracted into enlarged static objects. These elements interweave spatially, creating scenes that are both poetic and evocative. Employing geometric design techniques, the architects enable the building space to enter the city at a local level and leap out from a global perspective. Through this abstract form, the Exhibition Center successfully communicates a profound understanding of Liushui's past, present, and future.
