Nomad Cabins emerges as a pioneering Bulgarian company offering modern prefabricated houses crafted from wooden panels. Founded by a team of specialists in natural construction, the enterprise shares a passion for natural materials and harmonious, nature-inspired concepts. Characterized by attractive, streamlined designs, the typical projects target environmentally conscious clients valuing short timelines and fixed budgets. Thanks to a closed production cycle – from design to installation – the execution stands out for its exceptional precision. For the high-quality timber materials invested, the company relies on a partnership with JAF.

House O: A Prelude to Ethereal Living
House O stands as the team's inaugural project. The sloping terrain in the foothills of Rila and the client's desire for an optimal view of the picturesque mountain slopes dictated the design and construction choices. The two-level vacation house with a mono-pitched roof is entirely built atop ground screw anchors, without the use of concrete. Besides easily achieving the desired level, this type of construction is extremely environmentally friendly. The result is compelling, creating a particularly airy and vacation-like ambiance.

The load-bearing structure is frame-based, entirely crafted from wood. For its construction, the team relies on laminated beams, ensuring high durability and geometric stability in the harsh Rila climate. Large windows provide the panoramic view sought by the client and abundant light within. The thermowood terrace framing the house on both sides further extends the perceived living space. For the facade, the noble thermowood is again selected. Tempered in the thermal treatment process, it demonstrates exceptional resistance to atmospheric influences and pest attacks. Therefore, thermowood claddings boast an exceptionally long service life without the need for special protective impregnation. In this case, the owner has chosen the path of natural greying. Under the influence of sunlight over the years, the wood will gradually acquire an elegant silvery hue.
