NG Residence, designed by Kypad Design Office LLP, is a 3000 sq.ft. residence in Malad, Mumbai, that redefines what it means to live with both comfort and character in the heart of a bustling city. Crafted for a family of four, the home is a seamless blend of individuality, togetherness, and timeless design.
At its core, this residence is a narrative of ease and elegance. The entrance sets the mood with soft tones and subtle reflections, while each space unfolds as a chapter in the family’s story. The guest bedrooms transform into versatile retreats, balancing intimacy, functionality, and hospitality. Private rooms express individuality: the daughter’s creative nook brims with warmth and storage for her artistic energy, while the son’s minimalist haven reflects his love for music and contemporary aesthetics.
The master suite, bathed in golden western light, captures the luxury of everyday moments with spaces visually zoned for rest and reflection. Together, these spaces form a fluid design language that emphasizes personal expression, warmth, and soulful comfort.
The semi-open kitchen seamlessly interacts with the living room across marble-log perched on the serving counter. This breakfast table is the heart of the house. The living room is largely monotoned though rich in textures. This allows for the bold character of the flooring to take the limelight. On the other hand, life unfolds in the informal living room between a rich black marble floor below and wooden ceiling above. The guest bedroom is uniquely designed with a low gaadi seating and shelving system to display memorabilia.
The residence is complete with customized artworks breathing life into the spaces.
