The design of the experiential environment for the new New York Public Library Visitor Center was a collaboration between NYPL, architects Beyer Blinder Belle, and exhibit designers Pure+Applied. New Project provided design engineering, fabrication, A/V integration support, and installation services for elements including a 32-foot-long video array wall; a series of brass tables; reception desks; foyer video screen enclosures; and dimensional lettering. Our team was also responsible for custom millwork throughout the space, including a recessed glass and bronze wall case. The unique patinated tables encourage visitor engagement, combining interactive touchscreens, tactile objects, and informational graphics profiling the various collections.
