The regional design competition of the new city hall in Zenica covers an area of 28,000
square meters. The whiteness of the exterior emphasizes the functionality of the building,
which is conceived in the form of two cubes that are interconnected by glazed corridors.
The building exudes modernism with a postmodern roof design. The building has solar panels
on the roof that allow it to use solar energy instead of artificial electricity.
In addition, the volume of the atrium itself allows natural ventilation of the building
throughout the year, so that in winter the temperature rises by several degrees
and in summer it drops, which gives comfort to the users of the space.
