The new shopping and entertainment center NEBO is located in Moscow district Solntsevo at the intersection of Aviatorov street and Yulian Semyonov street. Previously, this place was an airfield, which gave the name to Aviator street. As an engineering company in this project we were leading the processes of general plan, structural solutions and MEP.
The architects of the project were inspired by the theme of aviation when creating the architectural concept of the shopping center.
The main facade will be completely transparent, with high stained glass windows. The building will consist of several large volumes. For facing facades, white and gray cassettes are used, partially coated with "chameleon" blue tones. The inclined position of the seams between the panels will give dynamics to the protruding volumes.
A lot of reflective and light materials were used to create the facade, so that the building dissolved into the environment and changed depending on the time of day. The back of the building, where the cinema will be located, will be more contrasting in color.
A bright accent was the ceiling, for which a copper reflective material was chosen. Thus, it reacts to the food court, the terrace and the area in front of the building, flashing and multiplying the warm glow. Finishing the facade with ceramic panels creates a pleasant space for people at the entrance areas.
This is the first class a shopping and entertainment center for its location. The property has excellent pedestrian and transport accessibility.
NEBO shopping center consists of:
grocery supermarket – 2710 m2
multiplex cinema - 3530 m2
the amusement park – 680 m2
cafes and restaurants – 1650 m2
outdoor terrace where restaurant tables will be installed in summer
shopping galleries – about 20 000 m2
In front of the entrance there will be a park with a large children's playground, a bike path, a platform for festive installations, a recreation area and a carousel.

GLA – 27,000 m2. Thus, the ratio of useful and total area will be almost 1:1, which indicates the high class of the object, the comfort of visitors and a significant aesthetic component.
Underground (254 m/m) and ground (377 m/m) parkings give a total of 631 parking spaces.
The number of floors varies from 2 to 4 floors. There are three shopping levels. Part of the square in the food court area has a two-light space.
Design feature
All stages and sections of the design went in parallel. The complex architecture of the main entrance consoles combined with panoramic windows. The large step of the columns is from 9 to 12 meters.
Thanks to the use of BIM technology and the well-coordinated work of teams of designers, engineers and architects, the project was completed in the shortest possible time.
