Located in the interior of São Paulo, MS House was conceived with the premise of prioritizing social spaces and providing its residents with direct contact with the nature and perspectives of the location.
The irregular topography of the terrain provides integration of architecture with the surrounding landscape. Various terraces smooth out the slopes and harmonize with the scenery, positioning the main volume at the highest point.
The volumetrics emerge from two perpendicular planes, creating a distinction between intimate and social spaces. The access is guided by a pathway accompanied by a canopy, which leads visitors through the internal and external spaces to the entrance of the social block. Upon entering the house, the sensation of fluidity is marked by large openings that establish visual connections between the internal spaces and the natural surroundings.
Inside, the integration of natural materials such as wood and stone, combined with concrete, harmonizes with the surrounding vegetation, resulting in a palette of neutral tones. Additionally, internal gardens provide a natural breath, bringing the lightness of the surroundings to every detail of the project.
