The innovative hotel structure created by DHK in collaboration with the Marco Piva Studio is strategically located just a few kilometres from the Mestre by-pass and the airports of Venice and Treviso, immersed in the tranquil countryside of Trevigiano and surrounded by fascinating Venetian villas. It is characterized by a dynamic arc structure naturally encompassing the surrounding area and with only two floors, thereby reducing the impact on the countryside and existing buildings to a minimum. The careful selection of the materials covering the facades, such as grey veined stone and wood and the landscaping which uses plants and indigenous substances, ensure that the architectural structure is in complete harmony with the surrounding environment. The interior design was carried out by the architect Marco Piva, except restaurant and bar developed by Studio Bam Design. The main element of the project was the development of a formal continuity between the structure and the surrounding area, with a focus on light colours and natural materials, in harmony with the surrounding green areas, to create a pleasant, welcoming and elegant environment. The Move Hotel has 203 rooms, of which 185 are standard rooms, 16 are junior suites and 2 are suites. All the rooms offer comfort and relaxation to guests in an intimate and welcoming area characterized by the sober and elegant forms of the furniture, produced from a design by Battaglia Contract and the use of products designed in Italy, such as the Ayers di Leucos blown glass table lamps and the Reverso di Novello sinks, both designed by Marco Piva. The rooms located on the ground floor enjoy a small private area around the external part of the hotel or looking towards the internal garden, where privacy is ensured by the separating elements in natural wood.In the hotel lobby light plays a leading role: from a height of 12 metres in the imposing entrance way, tubular lamps are suspended in the void with natural light filtering abundantly in from the large glass facades, characterizing the common areas of the ground floor. The reception banquet is entirely covered in light coloured Lessinia stone creating a refined contrast with the dark tones of the grey veined stone covering the floors and walls of the lobby. Finally the waiting areas are furnished with comfortable and elegant sofas made by BPA International and showcases along walls. The hotel also has a large Congress Centre located in its centre and surrounded by an artificial lake with a fountain, which can also be reached by a separate dedicated entrance. The foyer welcomes guests in a professional and comfortable atmosphere and develops into reception and relaxation area decorated with boiserie and glass showcasing. The plenary room and the five smaller meeting rooms can hold up to 600 persons and are flexible as their capacity and shape can be converted using sliding walls. In particular, the plenary room is also particularly suited for banquets and special events as a result of the special care that was taken with the wall coverings that alternate lacquered wood with leather panels in a rhythm that follows that on the facades of the hotel. The hotels wellness centre provides guests with pleasant moments of relaxation whether spent in a covered pool or in the sauna, Turkish baths, Kneipp spa, sensory showers and fitness room in an environment characterized by light colours and comfortable furniture. In the summer, guests can also enjoy a few hours of sun in the pool’s large solarium, which can also be used for special events and where the contrast between the teak floor and the exposed cement around the walls which protects and insulates the area, constitutes a characteristic and sophisticated detail. The Move Hotel, in harmonious concert with the environment surrounding it, is a result of perfect integration between comfort, hospitality and high quality services.
