Mistral has been designed as a prestigious mixed-use residential, retail and office building to be located in Ankara Street in Izmir, which is becoming one of the most important retail axles of the city. Regarding the soft climate conditions of İzmir, the public areas of the retail area has been linked with open air and also human scale has been considered in the design of the retail area. The soft climate conditions are considered also in the design of residential units as balconies which are essential building elements of İzmir. Balconies become the critical common features of residential units which are differentiated in size.

The high-rise office block is designed as a significant symbolic volume that strengthens the perception of the region. The office block is designed to supply a need of different sized office units with for İzmir. The building is also designed according to give the back-up services for the independent office units.
