Silver Star, the official distributor for Mercedes-Benz and Smart in Bulgaria, has invested EUR 18 million in a new, modern complex in Sofia, designed by IPA - Architecture and more. Located on Chelopeshko Shosse in the Kremikovtsi industrial zone, this multifunctional facility spans 65,700 sq. m. It includes service stations covering 8,700 sq. m. for trucks, vans, and buses, all equipped with top-class amenities. The built-up are exceeds 13,000 sq. m.
It's Bulgaria’s only automotive complex offering sales and after-sales service for new and used cars, trucks, buses, and vans, with bodywork and painting services, all under one roof. The complex also features an office area.
The exterior impresses with a modern, contemporary spirit that brings a high-tech feel while preserving Mercedes-Benz classic design with clean lines and a black-and-white color scheme, highlighted by the iconic "Mercedes Star" prominently displayed on the facade.
The complex features an innovative five-star service concept, providing a complete customer experience from online contact to on-site visits, test drives, vehicle maintenance, and participation in Silver Star activities.
The complex comprises four main buildings equipped with modern high-tech services to ensure uncompromising quality in every detail. The 1,700 sq. m. showroom and car reception area meet global Mercedes-Benz standards, resembling a luxurious five-star hotel lobby. The focus is on service and digitalization, providing visitors with a pleasant environment to explore new products, purchase spare parts, or choose accessories while waiting for car service. The office area on the second floor offers extensive shared space with modern and innovative workstations tailored for the company's digital processes.
On the ground floor, there are two mechanical workshops for cars and trucks, a spare parts warehouse, body shop, painting workshops, and a training center. Two car cosmetic centers maintain service quality. The truck reception area in Sofia sets a global standard as Europe's and the world's first to adopt Daimler Truck's new corporate standard, effective from early 2024, with the Silver Star project as a benchmark.
The office area features an open concept with spacious workspaces, shared areas, five telephone booths, four meeting rooms, designer furniture nooks, and presentation screens. Amenities include a canteen and a gym equipped with strength and cardio training equipment.
Bulgaria's first indoor service lobby for receiving cars integrates digital and physical visits, improving customer experience. Customers can book online and upon arrival, use a new pass system that recognizes their car's registration number, granting direct access to the closed service lobby where staff await with all necessary information for prompt car acceptance.
