Project Description - English
A small project with the aim of improving the working conditions at a typical office in Ha Noi. We have removed the partitions to create more open spaces, which creates a flexible, nature-friendly environment and enhances user connections.
The current floor is a gym room that is divided into small spaces. Walls and partitions reduce the ability to receive light and wind, which explains why the space is so confined, lightless, and visibility limited.
The design solution is to knock down walls and partitions, bringing the entire workspace next to the window in order to take advantage of natural light. Moving the meeting room and pantry into the center of the office and using a polycarbonate sliding wall system that can be closed and opened as needed to cover that meeting room and pantry.
When there are no meetings or events that require privacy, the sliding wall system can be opened so that the spaces can be linked together. In an ideal world, people can see each other from every location in the office, thereby increasing the opportunity for interacting and communicating between co-workers.
Moving the meeting room and pantry into the center of the office and using a polycarbonate sliding wall system that can be closed and opened as needed to cover that meeting room and pantry.
When privacy is needed, partitions will be closed to form separate and independent rooms. However, there can still be communication between people to people and people to nature through a trans-light material. Thanks to the layer material, the Pantry space actually becomes a glowing lamp every sunset.
In addition to changing the nature of spaces, the general interior of the office also aims to reduce the color and materials but still ensure its functions. We took advantage of old tables, chairs, and sofas, refurbishing and customizing them to reduce costs. The main interior material is wood, combined with white partitions to bring a sense of lightness and comfort to the user. Therefore, people can easily feel natural elements such as trees, light, and surrounding landscapes.

Through the project, we want to provide a simple and economical solution to improve workspace and increase interoperability for offices in Vietnam.
