Originally designed by mid-century modern architect Mary Gregory, this residential home was reinvented by completely re-configuring the existing interior spaces. New windows and doors were added and the second floor was removed to create taller, more open spaces that allow the natural light to filter throughout. The kitchen features floating stone shelves near the stove and an island that hosts plenty of storage. Wall ovens, a pull-out pantry, a walk-in pantry, a mudroom, and a coat closet are all cleverly organized and hidden within a centralized casework system. The casework is highlighted in blue and serves to separate the kitchen from the living space.
