Renovation of existing treatment rooms and the relaxation area, relocation of the back of house areas, renovation of the public areas, adding feature fabrics and paints with a complete lighting reconfiguration.
The redesign included improvements to the overall space planning, which was disjointed, renovating the exterior entrance, adding two new facial treatment rooms and renovating the Royal Suite. Chapman Taylor also redesigned all the existing treatment rooms, added a 25m² relaxation area, relocated the back of house areas and renovated the public areas, while also adding feature fabrics and paints and carrying out a complete lighting reconfiguration.
The design was influenced by the hotel’s colonial-era style, drawing strong references from the region and adding some traditional upcountry Thai touches. The design also has a calming atmosphere, with all functions connecting from the central feature staircase, using a fine balance of simplicity and colonial-style detailing.
