Madison Square Garden selected our firm to complete the largest renovation of their famed arena. The project consists of three phases, with the final phase completed in January 2014.
The project encompasses the renovation of every facet of the arena, including the total customer experience. Improving and expanding upon the concourses, suites, seating, sight lines as well as upgrading sponsor opportunities and back of the house areas such as locker rooms, staging areas and employee facilities was the primary focus of this project.
The physical transformation of Madison Square Garden began in fall 2010. MSG remained open for sporting events and concert performances throughout the renovation process. Once the teams playoff series ended, the arena was closed for four months. With no events to work around, architects, engineers and contractors worked 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure that the construction was complete and ready for spectators by the teams home opener.
