Located close to Market Square, the Roosevelt High School grounds are at the corner of President Roosevelt Boulevard, Rue de la Promenade, and Rue Descarte. It is part of a dense townhouse fabric.
Roosevelt High School consists of two main buildings: the first, whose main facade overlooks Roosevelt Boulevard, dates from the early 20th century, while the building along Promenade Street is an extension of the high school dating from the 1970s. The playground overlooks the Descartes River.
The purpose of the project is to bring the entire school building into compliance with fire and accessibility standards.
