Project of the Season: A Vibrant Highlight of Autumn 2025

This luxurious villa in Saudi Arabia stands as one of Studia 54’s most striking projects of the season — a daring symphony of nature, light, and artistry.

The clients — a businessman and a celebrated artist — granted our team full creative freedom. Their only request was simple yet profound: to create a home that astonishes. A space where bold design meets emotional depth, capable of impressing guests and inspiring those who live within it.

The palette was built on earthy tones — elegant browns, soft ochres, beige, and graphite — brought to life with chrome reflections and warm golden details. The result is a balance of serenity and brilliance: natural textures intertwined with luminous surfaces.

Over 15 custom-designed installations and sculptures were created specifically for this residence — making it one of our most artistically rich and expressive works to date.

Living Room Ruled by the Elements

The living room, soaring to a height of five meters, embodies the grandeur of natural forces. Its centerpiece — a sculptural lighting installation — resembles a petal suspended mid-fall, glistening with dew-like drops. It descends from a mirrored architectural portal, a Studia 54 signature element that visually expands the space and introduces vertical rhythm.

A floor lamp by Nacho Carbonell, reminiscent of a surreal mushroom tree, becomes both sculpture and symbol — representing the resilience of life even in the harshest landscapes.

A bio fireplace, set against a hand-polished marble wall, brings a living flame into the heart of the room. The fluid stone texture recalls geological formations shaped by wind and time, while black marble flooring deepens the sense of monumentality.

The space is furnished with pieces from the world’s most esteemed brands — including a fringed Paul Ferrante armchair, a Haus of Hommeboys solid wood pouf, an elliptical Longhi cabinet, and elegant seating by Minotti and FiftyFourms. Together, they form a refined dialogue between luxury craftsmanship and the raw power of nature.

Dining Area Beneath a Floral Dome

For formal gatherings, the dining area was envisioned as a celebration of light and artistry. Its focal point — a custom chandelier designed by Studia 54 — takes the form of a magnolia in bloom.

A textile dome evokes delicate petals, while cascading crystal threads fall like pollen, creating a shimmering rainfall of light. Embroidered with metallic threads, the chandelier becomes a symbol of abundance, harmony, and well-being — deeply rooted in Eastern aesthetics.

The 15–17-seat dining table anchors the space, surrounded by refined Pedrali chairs.

The walls are a masterpiece in themselves: natural veneer inlaid with leather forms an organic motif, while onyx sconces in recessed panels emit a warm, ethereal glow. A metal screen with intricate botanical patterns completes the ensemble, and subtle floor lighting casts a poetic interplay of light and shadow — transforming the room into an immersive experience.

This project embodies Studia 54’s ongoing dialogue with nature — reinterpreting its forms, textures, and rhythms through a distinctly modern lens.

The villa is both a gallery and a sanctuary: a place where creativity, tranquility, and the grandeur of the natural world converge.

We envisioned this residence as more than a home — as an art form in motion, capable of inspiring and uplifting its owners daily.
