Consolidation of services under one roof was at the heart of Lowell Community Health Center's new facility.
As the associate architect and healthcare consultant to Durkee Brown Viveiros Werenfels Architects, Stantec was commissioned to provide programming, planning, pre-schematic design, and assistance with regulatory agencies for a historic mill building renovation project. As the Lowell Community Health Center currently exists in multiple disparate sites across downtown Lowell, the consolidation into a single building allows the design team to help rethink the center's operational programming. Working closely with senior administration, Stantec advised them on how to streamline functions and consolidate departments
