Formerly used as a machine factory and temporarily as an art gallery, this space was converted into a loft apartment with only 3 constructional elements: One room-high wall, a semi-high wall and a floor panel forming the upper gallery separate the different areas and make it possible to get as much function out of the limited space. The resulting four rooms – kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom – are separated and still flow into one another. In order to meet the unpretentious aesthetic demands, the surfaces were covered in simple white tiles.
