Light and Concrete at the Triennale - indiebarIndiebar was
developed by Rieder, Davide Groppi and 967 Design. During the Salone
Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, indiebar was presented in the garden
of the Triennale.I’ve always worked on opposites.fibreC is cement and it’s thin.fibreC’s bidimensionality is fascinating. It’s the project main component.I’ve imagined, from the start, an “outdoor” use because of its material technological characteristics.I like to think of outdoor light as somethingthat comes from indoor.Nearly the extension of the actions we do inside our home.Working with the architects of Studio 967, we developed an outdoor seat with light.Light is very low, downward, floating.Indiebar is a small gesture to enlighten a night in may. With friends.(Davide Groppi 2007)
