The brief for this project was to create a light, spacious home with a side return extension that provided sufficient width for an island unit and dining table, allowing the kitchen to function as a social space.
The kitchen area enjoys an excellent connection to the rear garden patio with a bespoke full height opening which maximizes the daylight and natural ventilation into the space.
Straightforward geometry cleverly used, physically engaged with the current building and the context. We used hardwood for the floor and double glazed windows to minimize the heat losses.
