Lehe village is a small summer retreat located on the Alborz Mountains, 65 kilometers from Babol city and 2500 meters above sea level. It has no permanent residents because of its harsh and snowy winters.
The village’s situation and the surrounding nature inspired us to design a cottage with minimal impact and interference on the environment.
This project is a 60 m2 cottage for weekend use of up to 20 people, with the lowest cost possible (A budget of 9000 $). The form and spaces of the cottage, as well as the materials used inside and outside, follow the goal of creating a subtle and eco-friendly presence.
