Nestled beside a natural spring, Leaf House is a fusion of architecture and nature, embodying the delicate spirit of a leaf draped over a building. Inspired by the organic forms found in works of Frank Lloyd Wright and the surrounding landscape, the design concept seamlessly integrates with its environment, creating a sanctuary where indoor and outdoor spaces blend effortlessly. The curved roof ‘shell’ echoes the graceful contours of foliage, while expansive windows frame picturesque views of the tranquil waters and lush forest, inviting the beauty of nature inside.
Inside, the home exudes a sense of serenity and warmth, where limestone and timber foster a direction connection to the land. Here, the client can find respite from the hustle and bustle of modern life, enveloped in a space that encourages contemplation and rejuvenation. Designed with sustainable building principles in mind, Leaf House looks to use the natural resources of the site to create a self-sustaining, off-grid home, setting the standard for environmentally conscious architecture.
