The La Habra Heights city hall is a phenomenally successful adaptive reuse project. After several other architects’ designs for city hall came in way over budget, Ewing architects suggested reusing the existing 1950’s era school building that the city had already been using as city hall. By renovating and adding on to the existing building, Ewing architects was able to create a modern yet historically significant building. The final product was also 5% under budget.
"The City of La Habra Heights hired Ewing Architects, Inc., to rehabilitate our 1950's city hall. It was a $2.5 million project that turn out beautiful. Ewing took a nondescript government building and turned it into a work of art. The compliments keep coming in. I recommend Ewing Architects very highly." - Shauna Clark, La Habra Heights City Manager
