Krume Bäker is a bakery located in Costa del Este, Panama City, inspired by the Austrian tradition of artisanal and organic sourdough bread-making. Krume is recognized as an honest, transparent, socially responsible brand that honors its roots, its product, the environment, and the health of its customers. It offers the highest quality products, standing out from the rest, and in this new phase, the company has considered designing new spaces that represent the potential of its product, allowing us to share and enjoy our philosophy with people: honesty, integrity, community, and responsibility.
The design of Krume's new and innovative spaces focuses on creating a multisensory experience that aims to balance aesthetics, functionality, and identity, with a fluid circulation inviting customers to explore the products. These spaces create an atmosphere as natural as the product they represent, with furniture evoking the presence of sunlit wheat fields. The walls are made of compacted earth, connecting with the natural origin of the ingredients. Lighting directed at the bread highlights and reflects the importance of the product, which is the true protagonist of the space. The color and material palette reflects the softness, warmth, and spontaneity of nature, representing the essence of the brand and its origins, through soft, monochromatic colors derived from the natural and material world. Shades of chocolate, green, and various tones of beige, along with porous, organic, and unique textures, are used.
Transparency, minimalism, luminosity, and fluidity define the construction of spaces designed to create a connection with the essential, such as sourdough bread, whose preparation process is a communion with the earth, and its final product, an experience tied to an ancient culture and tradition. Krume reconnects with the past and with ourselves through nature, transforming a visit into a unique experience in a welcoming environment with high-quality products.
