Concept
Named after the urban city in which it will reside, Kotelniki is located South-East from central Moscow directly off of Novoryazanskoye Shosse. The shopping center at Kotelniki Transport Hub includes 100,000 square meters of retail, ranging from a hypermarket, cinema, entertainment, restaurants, and international fashion/sports brand names. Its commercial program frames a significant nodal point for the various major means of transportation systems that will include metro, bus station, BRT and extensive parking.

Kotelniki is emblematic of its urban site in scale and texture. Its mass is articulated as a collection of building facades to create a rhythmic composition of solids and voids. The soaring skylight canopy at the main entry façade has been designed to maintain a human scale that is both iconic and inviting.
