The interior design project for Kopi Hub, Korat branch, is based on the concept of “Mud Mai” (traditional Thai silk weaving). This concept aligns with the design of the main building, creating harmony between the exterior and interior. The interior space is divided into three distinct zones.
.
Zone 1 — The reception and seating area are arranged within a circular space, allowing customers to enjoy the surrounding garden views. A large red backdrop, designed by rearranging patterns of “Ak Mai” silk and incorporating red threads, represents the signature color of the Kopihub brand. Additionally, a central, oversized infinity-shaped chandelier complements the Mudmai concept, enhancing the cohesive design.
.
Zone 2 — This area consists of seating and a central hallway. Upon entering, visitors will encounter a large open void featuring a vertical garden at its center and a koi pond, creating a serene atmosphere. Customers seated here can enjoy garden views on both the left and right sides. Additionally, a subtle detail of the “Korat Cat,” a symbol of Korat city, is incorporated into a large painted mural, adding a local touch to the design.
.
Zone 3 — The semi-outdoor seating area and the Pa Thong Ko kiosk.
This area is designed to immerse customers in the outdoor garden atmosphere as much as possible. Seating is arranged along the curved lines of the building and garden. Partitions, inspired by the Mudmai pattern, serve both as decorative elements and functional dividers, providing separation for the VIP room.
