The natural design in shape, material and colors support the pedagogical concept of the
kindergarten.
The combination of natural materials with a simple, clear design language brings
calmness and structure into the daily routine of the kids.
The installed trees invite to indoor climbing and exercise.
The theme of nature and landscape is also found in wall tiling and painting.
The commercial space used to be a former sauna. baukind, together with the client tried
to conserve as many trades of this sauna as possible: the salt walls of the former salt
sauna room were saved and even a little sauna cabin in the kids bathroom was kept.
Here the kids enjoy a weekly sauna session.
Throughout the kindergarten multifunctional areas and elements were created. Platforms
offer storage room and play niches, tables serve also as a playing shop for kids, a
wooden tunnel serves as seating bench, the hallway wall becomes an instrument, etc.
