Project Introduction
The coffee shop hidden in the old community shines alone among the low and complicated houses. The project is located in an old community where the older generation of Wenzhou lives. The generally low structure allows the sun to shine. The noisy market environment of the community is gathered inside, but it frames a quiet place. There is a saying that "the great is hidden in the city", which is an interesting and well-organized experience. The brand-new coffee fashion corresponds to the old house with a strong market atmosphere, which seems to be an encounter in time. The design hopes that the space can be distinguished from the surrounding shops, while not being superior to the environment. Therefore, the ground at the entrance is paved with horseshoe stones from the sidewalk, which plays a role in the transition of the space in the form of retreat. Tasting coffee is a very daily trivial matter. Whether it is a high-end exquisite coffee shop or a bench on the roadside, it will not affect the bitter taste at the entrance and the fragrance that follows. The design and creation of a small coffee shop of only 20 square meters is also an attempt to upgrade the business in line with the current consumption concept, making the space a social place filled with the aroma of coffee, thereby shortening the distance between people and providing a short place to "waste time" in the busy urban context.
