Kenzo´s concept emerges from the typical simple Japanese urban culture and it´s architecture, research in order to adapt those schemes into a small area. We wanted to integrate the inner space with the simplicity of raw materials like wood, Steel, concrete and glass.
The origami installation simulates the sensation of a different atmosphere in the interior, making the user feel in a new experience with it´s “roofed sky”.
The contrast between cold and warm materials like Steel and wood, emerge from the ground level and bring out the bar, staircase and furniture.
The Japanese restaurant has an “L” shaped bar, a mezzanine and a concrete lattice which brings natural lightning into the restaurant.
