Located in a private subdivision of the city of Colima, the project was conceived with a very particular architectural program, this because the final users of it were only 2, so a very personalized distribution was made and a little atypical for the average buildings of these dimensions and characteristics.
The architectural program is divided into two floors:
On the ground floor there is a space for 2 cars, followed by an exterior staircase that connects this area with the entrance area to the house. Once inside we can perceive the social area, with a living room, dining room, kitchen, a full bathroom and a small garden terrace in the back. On the other hand, in the central part as focal point of the house we have an open double-height cube where the stairs that connect us to the second floor are located, these are floated in a sheet of paper over a water mirror with an arrayan in the side.
Once it is on the top floor, we have a tempered glass bridge that, in addition to giving the feeling of floating, allows free access to the overhead light throughout the ground floor. The bridge in turn acts as a distributor to the spaces located in this area. Here the description of the program is a unique bedroom, with its terrace and TV area inside it, a dressing room of considerable size, (this is because the owners are great fashion lovers) and a full bathroom. Once outside of this we have a small study and the laundry room.
