This project
is located in the south of the city of Puebla, to where urban sprawl is
growing, because of its location and image, it develops an important presence
towards outside.It is a small
complex for kids parties. A large garden, an inflatable play area and a lounge
for parties and events were the initial program of this project.The proposal
consists on a volume containing the lounge with capacity for 100 people, in
this volume were resolved service areas: kitchen and bathrooms for boys and
girls. The roof of the hall, supported by a series of columns, is kept separate
from the walls, creating an image of lightness and transparency. This
lightweight roof, seemingly suspended flies beyond the volume to generate a
covered terrace that runs as an extension of the indoor space while the
transition between interior and exterior space. The space opens frankly to the
garden, where the major activities of each event develops.Another
important project is the canvas cover which protects from sun and rain the
space were the inflatable games are located. The project takes care of the
presence of this element, making a clear dialogue between the canvas cover and
the lounge volumen.The project is
defined by simple lines that make a very frank and functional geometry. The
circulations are resolved based on ramps that provide comfort and security to
users at the same time entertain the children. The main entrance is solved
through a large lobby on the ground level from where it dominates the view of
the activities taking place in the garden.The white
color and transparency of the buildings are clear concepts that accompany the development
of this project and integrate the image of the complex. With the idea in mind
at all times is to achieve a fun project, fresh and appealing to children,
while comfortable, functional and safe for adults.
