Design Statement | Public Installation
The design began with a reflection on the role of street space. Starting from three planters, nihilii studio introduced a system of L-shaped metal volumes, whose right-angled geometries stack and rotate into a stepped micro-topography. These elements resist fixed function—serving as seats, steps, or platforms while enabling moments of pause and interaction. On the second-floor terrace, modular units continue this structural logic, forming a flexible system for everyday urban use.
