The term “Ghost Market” refers to a nickname for China’s antique trading markets, which typically start in the early hours of the morning. Participants remain silent, using specific hand gestures hidden within their sleeves to negotiate prices discreetly.
Nihilii Studio designed a pop-up store inspired by the “Ghost Market” theme, transforming the retail space into a stage that evokes a sense of time travel. This immersive experience invites consumers to step into the role of treasure hunters, blending the mystery of traditional markets with the thrill of modern retail exploration.
