The beautiful
architecture of René Peralta’s Fibonacci’s Coop
provides a magical setting for play and performance. The New Children’s Museum
The Children’s Museum commissioned generica to build an
improv theater as part of the installations for the opening of their new building designed by San Diego architect
Rob Quigley. The structure uses the same panels of the two previous
installations and creates a volume that changes the atmospheric effects of the
space as sunlight enters through the south façade of the building. The
structure accommodates a space for children to act as if they were on a formal
stage dancing and performing as the shadows change throughout the day.
