The project is a mixed-use complex with a 26-story, 100 meters tall office tower, a 10-story apartment building and a commercial podium.
Project is located in Xishan District, Wuxi, a city beside the Taihu Lake. So the complex was designed like a sailboat in the lake, with the taller office tower like the sail and the shorter apartment building like the boat cabin, thus expressing a “breaking through wind and waves” gesture and “going ahead with courage” meaning. I also designed a sky garden on the top of apartment building for residents' leisure activities, and also designed a hollow space on the top of office tower to echo the sky garden space and be a unique symbol of the complex. Architecture style adopted simplified Western classical form to demonstrate the graceful, generous, noble, dignified, peaceful, and elegant temperament of a public business complex.
