Houses In Pylaia
The site is located in Pylaia, a suburb of Thessaloniki. The two houses are separated with a vertical stone wall even though they appear attached. The design concept was based to a synthesis of horizontal and vertical planes forming the areas of the houses, filled with vertical glass surfaces. The vertical clean surfaces underline the flatness of the site giving tranquility to the synthesis. The interior organization follows similar rules, with living room, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom being on the ground level, whereas the bedrooms and the lounge areas are on the upper floors.
