The challenge of designing a modern one floor house was primarily in the arrangement of rooms, which is followed by the formation of a dynamic ground plan. Such a large square area of the required rooms had to be broken into individual smaller units. Designed were three longitudinal parallel rectangles with different lengths. This shape enables the organization of rooms by individual sections such as accommodation and sleeping areas as well as the creation of interesting ambiences between them.
Three elements also occur in the shape of the building itself or more exactly in the roof form. The three way gable roofs break the volume of the house creating attractive views, which are very different in relation to the position of the observer. These are also visible in the interior of the building, where the roof, leads to the outside terrace through large glass surfaces.
On the contrary, the materials selected are much more subdued. Prevail the light colored large-format plates and stone claddings which are enriched individual details wrapped wood. This slightly softens the dramatic shape of the building.
