Archiblox strive to create buildings that can reduce stress, enhance creativity, clarity of thought, and improve well-being – and this is exactly what they did with their House of Haagen Dazs project.

The space has been used to introduce the premium ice cream brand Haagen-Dazs back to the Australian market after a hiatus of 30 years.

It was constructed of materials including carbon neutral timber cladding on the exterior, plywood interiors including seating and ceiling, and recycled blackbutt timber planter boxes.

The designer Pods prefabricated construction has taken as little as 10 weeks using advanced prefabricated building methods and materials that carry high sustainable properties. The building itself sits lightly in its landscape and once transported to its next destination it will leave no trace of being there. A sustainable response was twofold the materials used within the space and the biophilic design ideas.

Archiblox designed a beautifully fitted-out space with detailed joinery, intricate paneling, custom booth seating and sophisticated window portals embodied with suspended planters and rope detailing creating an all-encompassing striking fit-out. The innovative transportable architectural design is a "sensory meeting space" to indulge whilst being immersed in bespoke design.

As a mobile structure power and water services were provided at each location. Waste water was collected within tanks hidden beneath the building skirts.
