Located on the island of Pag, Croatia, in the picturesque town of Lun the house is a respectful answer to its surroundings. It is nestled on the edge of the thousand year old olive grove and in between traditional dalmatian fields partitioned by dry stone walls. These natural and man-made features are the main driving force behind the architectural language of the house.
Main design feature and priority we put before ourselves when designing the house was for the house to be almost invisible from the neighboring houses or the street so we could preserve the natural look of the area. This was achieved by digging the house bellow the street level and elevating the land behind the house thus creating an illusion of classical dalmatian fields and dry stone walls when viewing the house from the neighboring houses and street level. In contrast to that the main façade is fully open to the views of the Adriatic Sea and the sunsets. House consists of 4 sleeping rooms, and main living room/kitchen area overlooking the pool with the views of traditional dalmatian landscape framed by the Adriatic Sea. There is also a private terrace, shielded from views with a wine cellar
