House L, the prefabricated one-family home looks as a simple, clean geometric shape, with a rectangular floor plan, rectangular facades and flat roofs. However, a more detailed insight offers a lot more and shows the complete luxury of the designed spaces that ensure comfort and quality for a four-member family.
Open floor design of the ground floor is facing entirely towards the outer garden intended for summer family time and relaxation and there for becomes a part of the main living spaces. The ground floor offers an additional office and all the necessary technical areas as well as a garage space for two cars.
The first floor is more an intimate area with bedroom and bathrooms, which is separated into an entity intended for parents and the other intended for children. The shape of the house consists of several rectangular shapes with different heights, which breaks down the basic dimensions of the building and makes it more attractive and playful. With removing and adding of individual rectangular shapes we get added roofs over the outdoor terraces on the ground floor while above balconies, roof terraces are shaped.
The exterior of the building is dominated by bright white shades of different facade materials - a combination of facade plaster and large panels, which further accentuates the pure geometric shapes of the building. All the other details, from the niches, balconies, the connection between larger volumes is marked by a wooden cladding in its natural shades, which gives the building an additional component and makes it more interesting.
When designing the interior, the idea of carefully balanced simple lines and rich details prevails. The material and color scale is carefully selected and follows the same design concept of the exterior facade of the building - bright colors are predominant in combination with natural wood patterns, which emphasize the attractive details of the furniture pieces. Despite the combination of only two color schemes and simple clean lines, the interior is characterized by the use of various materials and surface treatments, thus avoiding a cold minimalist look.
