This is a small family house in Vainia village near Ierapetra, Crete. The house has a modern character and is partly made of traditional materials, like the local stone, that will be excavated from the site. The living room, dining room and kitchen are on the ground floor and the three bedrooms are on the first floor. There is also a basement that houses the mechanical rooms and a guest room. The client is a captain and wished to have a direct view to the sea. The large openings of the house overlook the olive groves of the village as well as the sea towards the city of Ierapetra, offering an ideal place to live and relax.
