Hotel Osijek, the iconic building along Osijek riverside panorama is located in the pedestrian zone on the very bank of the river. After the Croatian war of independence it was considerably damaged and in later years fell into disrepair.

The project brief was to completely restore and modernize the architectural look of the building as well as bringing hospitality standards up to current expected levels. Contemporary architectural approach reaffirms its status as one of the symbols of the city skyline. New technical solutions which were used add value for the building owner as well as its users. This is confirmed by the fact that building is certified as "sustainable hotel" by Association of Employers in Croatia and that it meets the standards prescribed by the current building criteria. Hotel Osijek also carries the status of the best hotel accommodation in the continental Croatia.
